Why don't the volume and mute controls work on Apple iOS devices?

Apple doesn't allow the volume to be controlled from a web page. You need to use the physical buttons on the iOS device.

Can I use freeRadio to play a radio stream if I know the URL?

Yes you can. freeRadio only plays mp3 and aac radio streams but not m3u. To play your own radio enter ?url=<Your radio stream URL> after the website address for freeRadio. If you bookmark the link you can create your own collection of radio streams.

ABC Radio has a streams list. How do I get the URL for the radio stream?

The link shown on the ABC Radio site shows the location which ends in .pls. You need to download this file. You'll get a security warning but it's OK to download. (Only download files if you know they're safe.) Once the file is downloaded open the file using Notepad (if on Windows) and you'll see the URL for the radio stream. For example for the ABC Regional station for the Wide Bay area the URL is http://live-radio03.mediahubaustralia.com/4BBGW/mp3/.

To play this radio stream enter https://www.onlineconnections.com.au/freeradio/?url=http://live-radio03.mediahubaustralia.com/4BBGW/mp3/ into your browser and then press the play button. You can bookmark this location and can easily play the radio station stream any time using the bookmark.

Can I play my own radio stream when watching a YouTube video?

No, not at this stage. If this feature is requested by a number of people I'll update the code to provide this functionality.
