Overview:
My GPS Coordinates is a program to display your current GPS coordinates as reported by your device.
Instructions:
Obtaining your current GPS coordinates is performed as three steps. First click on the button which will then display
your latitude and longitude values which are your current GPS coordinates. You can then click on the link to display
a map of your current position. You can share this page (using email for example) with others which will enable them
to know where you are located. This is handy for example if you wish to let someone know where you are. Recently a family
member's car broke down and knowing the location was very handy.
The reason this is a multi-step process is I've found over time devices with GPS capabilities can initially provide quite an inaccurate value.
The first screen shows an provides an accuracy value. If the value is around or under 100 the reading is fairly good. It isn't usually exact, but the figure
is quite good. If you find you're not getting a good reading open a mapping application which tends to identify your
current location better and then run this application again.
