I have some date fields on a Form in an MS Access application which is an MDE file and default to today's date. When the application is run using the full version of MS Access XP there is no problem. On two machines using MS Access XP Runtime it works on one machine, but on a second machine the date fields contain #Name? and using Control+; does not insert today's date.
