I was asked recently, "why do I consider Google's search engine less than adequate?" In this article I explain what I have found over time. It should be noted I consider Google to be very good, but there are areas which I feel could be improved. The reason for this question is for a search engine for my own site, I don't feel Google's custom search engine is sufficient as the results have the same limitations as Google's search engine, but it is adequate.
