Recently Trend Micro Internet Security 2008 reported two false positives which resulted in the system files Ezcapt.exe and nlasvc.dll being removed. This solution shows what I did to restore the files and how to stop Trend Micro Internet Security from removing the files again. This is issue is apparent if you hover over the Internet connection icon in the System Tray. You will see the error message "Connection status: unknown. The dependency service or group failed to start."
